A true "golden oldie" is now available for reservation: Zurel

Until the mid-1990s, Zurel was one of the largest flower and plant importers and exporters. As the market leader in Germany, England, Austria, France, Denmark and Italy, the trucks of the proud owner-director Zurel could not be ignored. The prosperity that reigned within the export company at that time was explicitly reflected in the predominantly blue front wagons and trailers.  The letters that formed the name 'Zurel' on the trucks were in fact covered in gold leaf. 

The most beautiful truck of the Netherlands of 2021 is now available!

It will not have escaped anyone's attention that the Scania R580 of G. & J. van Leeuwen was awarded the title of Most Beautiful Truck of the Netherlands last July. Some 19,000 truck fans watched during Truckstar's online election how the Bruchem-based company, which specialises in the removal of horse manure, won the award.

Last but not least proves to be true when it comes to the Svempa Frostfire!

Since 1965, we have been able to enjoy a variety of always very fine and detailed tuned models, such as this one. About two years ago, Scania and Sven Erik Bergendahl, alias Svempa, completed his latest project: the Frostfire.

Last week we were informed about the sad news that 30-year old truck photographer Robin Holsappel has passed away as a result of the terrible muscle disease Duchenne. Our thoughts are with Robin's family and friends and we wish them much strength.

Tekno, in collaboration with Renault Trucks, presents the new T-high. The current T Series has been on the road since 2013, which is why Renault Trucks thought it was time for an update. Armed with new LED headlights, bumper, grill and wind deflectors around the front wings, the new T High is ready to go! We have implemented the changes in detail in our 1:50 scale model.

At the Country & Trucker Festival in Grimmen (on 17, 18 and 19 September), Maik Terpe will present his new trailer for Tätowierte gegen Krebs, a foundation that raises money to help eradicate cancer.

New to our range is a short tank container chassis. This chassis is mainly characterised by its shorter length than the traditional 30 ft. tank container chassis and the low step in at the rear. The loading and unloading connection of the tank container can now be operated from the ground by the driver and loading and unloading operator. With traditional 30 ft. tank container chassis this is often not possible, so that one has to climb on the back of the chassis to load or unload.
