A wonderful journey back in time. That's how you could call this brand new, but oh so classic development.

It is therefore with due pride that we at Tekno present to you this original Ford Transcontinental in 1:50 scale.

During the development of this classic model, every part was worked out to the smallest detail - resulting in this exact replica! The suspension, battery box, diesel tanks and - not to be missed - the entire chassis were developed especially for this unique miniature model.

Our DAF XD has been nominated as Miniature Car of the Year 2023 in the category "commercial vehicles 1:43/50"!
 
In the sixth edition of Auto In Miniatuur, NAMAC states, "As Truck of the Year 2023, the DAF XD should of course not be missing from this list of nominees. Tekno immediately brought two versions, simultaneously with the introduction of the real one at the IAA. The Tekno DAF XD is a very fine model with lots of details, with which the brand has raised the bar again. Dutch Glory in 1:50!"

Tekno proudly presents the new Kinglifter scale model. This transportable forklift is characterized by its versatility, powerful engine and high construction quality. Thanks to the close cooperation between Terberg and Tekno, a beautiful scale model has been created, which has been worked out to the smallest detail.

All parts of the model have been specially developed based on the original CAD files and painted in the original Kinglifter colors. Furthermore, the many small details, such as the lights and logos, complete the model - if you ask us.

Piet Hoogendoorn, who doesn't know him and the former transport company? At the age of 18, he first got behind the wheel of one of his father's trucks - and so it happened. Between 1979 and 2020, Piet was at the helm of his own transport company, which eventually had sixteen trucks. All feature the unique blue color blend. One of them is the Scania 143 6x2 with 3-axle stone trailer, the last vehicle Piet drove, and is available for reservation starting today.

M.J. de Wilde's classic 1987 Scania 142 V8

Shortly after the turn of the century, in 1910 to be exact, M.J. de Wilde Transport was founded by Jan de Wilde. With one horse and wagon loads of fruit, vegetables and cattle were transported to markets in and around Westland. Some 12 years after its founding Jan de Wilde switched to a different type of horsepower, i.e. the horses were exchanged for the first car with a cargo box, a Chevrolet.

Tekno unveils DAF XD in miniature at IAA 2022 in Hannover

DAF Trucks has launched its new generation of distribution trucks at IAA Transportation 2022. After the overwhelming success of the new XF, XG and XG+, it is now the XD's turn to set a new standard in the distribution sector. And, as no one will have failed to notice, the DAF XD has been named Truck of the Year 2023!
