Robin Holsappel and Tekno launch miniature truck to banish Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

On April 16th, Tekno launches a special miniature model to raise money for the foundation called Duchenne Parent Project, in cooperation with Robin Holsappel – the 29 years old truck photographer who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Tekno donates the total proceeds to the foundation Duchenne Parent Project to enable them to do more research to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and to develop medication which stops or slows down the demolition of muscles. Are you in?

Who in the world of truckers does not know Robin Holsappel? The man who has photographed numerous trucks. Unfortunately, Robin is not able to make his dream to become a truck driver come true due to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy from which he suffers. This muscular dystrophy occurs to one out of fifty thousand persons worldwide, mostly boys. In case of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy the muscles – and eventually the heart muscle – demolishes slowly, as the protein that manages the firmness of muscle cells lacks.

To stop or slow down the consequences of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy a lot of research – and therefore money – is required. Tekno has a warm heart for this goal by the realization of Robins other dream: the introduction of his very own Tekno miniature model. Entirely according to Robins design a dazzling model is realized. During this whole process, Robin has been closely involved in the achievement of his model and dream. The miniature truck is exclusively launched to raise money for foundation Duchenne Parent Project. Therefore, the total proceeds is donated to this foundation.

As of April 16th 2021, you are also able to contribute to the banishment of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Order the exclusive model now on the website.
