Executive Changes at Tekno Collectables on the Road to Our 100th Anniversary

We, Tekno Collectables, are announcing changes to our executive leadership. Maarten van Buuren is stepping down as Managing Director and will become our new Ambassador. The executive team will now consist of Aizo Timmermans (CEO) and Tom Baremans (CFO).

For our customers, nothing will change; you can continue to expect the same level of service and dedication that you are accustomed to. If you would like to learn more about these executive changes, we interviewed Maarten, Aizo, and Tom about it.

Maarten reflects on his career at Tekno and sees his new role as Ambassador as an opportunity to maintain important relationships. Aizo, who is soon to celebrate his 12.5-year anniversary with us, has held various positions and emphasizes the importance of teamwork and shared values. With over ten years of experience as a business controller, including four years at Tekno, Tom is now taking on the role of interim CFO.

As of today, it is possible to reserve a copy of the impressive modified Scania 164R-580 by JQ van der Meer. The 'new' 4-series by JQ van der Meer underwent a complete transformation, originally as a box truck chassis and R-series.

New: Reserve the 1:50 scale model of the Scania P410 in the Jekuntmijhuren edition now!

As of today, it is possible to reserve an exclusive 1:50 scale model of the impressive Scania P410, specially designed in the recognizable Jekuntmijhuren edition. This unique 4-axle truck, recently acquired by Cluistra for the transportation of aerial work platforms, was initially intended as a replacement for an existing truck but ultimately serves as a valuable addition to their transport department.

Truckstar Legends: Fastest Dutch Truck

Once again, we are joining forces with Truckstar for a new miniature in the Truckstar Legends series, this time featuring the Scania 141 owned by Aat Stalenberg, the fastest trucker in the Netherlands in 1981. This eleventh model in the series, known as the "Blue Flash," is meticulously reproduced with attention to its distinctive paintwork, special bumper, and roof accessories.

Schuster honors deceased friend with a specially designed vehicle.

Georg Schuster, the owner of the eponymous company, has made a heartwarming gesture in memory of his good friend Andreas Schubert. He has had one of his trucks adorned with a unique design that will serve as a lasting tribute to Andreas Schubert.
