SCANIA V8 CLASSIC TOUR ALONG TEKNO EVENT

For the 8th time the Scania V8 Classic Tour will take place on 18 May 2019. More than 56 Scania 140 and 141 employees form a large V8 logo at the start.
 
After the photo session, the tour is driven from Reeuwijksehout towards the Tekno Event in De Lier. Along the way the roaring 8 cylinders attract a lot of attention every time. The old Scania's are all from 1969 to 1981 with the famous 14-liter V8 under the hood.

This year's ride is part of the van Tekno Event. The convoy of these trucks will pass the Tekno Event 2x with all roaring V8s at around 14.30! An impressive procession of classic Scania's that you cannot miss!

In addition to this fantastic Scania tour, of course have more in store for you on the day. In the museum you will also find the sale of the Tekno models, where you will be treated to great offers.

Outside you can enjoy over 80 unique trucks from the Netherlands and abroad, parts sales, you can extinguish a fire, beautiful mini trucks, a Tire change competition and ride with show trucks for charity!





Always wanted to drive a truck yourself, even without a big driving license! Now, in addition to driving along in large trucks from the Truckers for Charity Foundation, you can also drive yourself (under the guidance of an instructor of course) in a truck from DON-education.





The geniality among the visitors during the event guarantees a friendly chat or a nice reunion with old friends. Of course, the children are also thought of, with entertainment such as a bouncy castle, buttons, face painting, grab bag etc.





For the hungry ones, the catering will once again take care of you with a snack and a drink, where the terrace and the bar will be the central center again. In addition, there is live music this year at 3.30 pm with Hans van Katwijk.

At the end of the afternoon there is, like every year, the spectacular exit parade of the trucks, an event that you cannot miss!
