Raba - Hungarocamion

Now to reserve is the 3th model of Hungarocamion: a Raba 3-axle rigid truck with a 2-axle trailer. Raba was one of the Hungarian manufacturers who made trucks, military vehicles, buses and construction vehicles.

In the 1980’s DAF cabines were bought from in Eindhoven. Today Raba produce mainly semi – manufactured trucks and buses.

Hungarocamion was a Hungarian transport company established in 1966. It was owned by the Hungarian communistic state and after the privatization it merged with nowadays Waberer’s. On their peak Hungarocamion had more than 1200 of their own trucks and drove to all corners of the world.

Hungarocium was one of the biggest truck-clients of Raba. Raba built more than 2000 trucks a year meanly for the East-European market. They used cabines from MAN along with the F241 cabine from DAF known from the 2800, 3300 and 3600 trucks.
